Astrology

Astrology is an ancient science that in modern day has been demoted to the entertainment section of magazines and newspapers. But there is so much more to it than a simple day by day generic print out of fortune cookie wisdom. I'm not saying that Horoscopes have no place (some are very accurate and helpful), I am just trying to say that there is more.

Have you ever had questions about your own personality? "Why do I do that?" "Why am I so hard on myself?" Through the use of a Natal chart, you can come to understand what the Universe has destined for you - and how you can make those personality traits work for you.

Any studied Astrologer will be able to read a Natal Chart. This chart is basically a blue print to your personality and being... the good and the bad. Not only will this Astrologer be able to tell you all about yourself, without you ever having to say a word, but s/he should be able to chart the transits for the day against your chart, and tell you what is coming up for you in the days, weeks, months, and years to come.

• The SUN is the first of our two luminaries. When someone asks you “What’s your sign?” They are asking for your Sun Sign. The Sun is the luminary of your will and purpose.
• The MOON is the second of our two luminaries. The Moon is the luminary of your emotions, your emotional needs, and your receptivity.
• MERCURY is the planet of communication and perception.
• VENUS is the planet of beauty, harmony, and attraction.
• MARS is the planet assertion, combativeness, and sexual drive.
• JUPITER is the planet of expansion, growth, and faith.
• SATURN is the planet of limitation and duty.
• URANUS is the planet of freedom and innovation.
• NEPTUNE is the planet of intuition, sensitivity, artistry.
• PLUTO is the planet of transmutation, strength, and destiny

The Signs

• ARIES The Ram (Cardinal Fire) is ruled by Mars. Aries are characterized by their need for action.
• TAURUS The Bull (Fixed Earth) is ruled by Venus. Taurus are characterized by their need for stability.

• CAPRICORN The Sea-Goat (Cardinal Earth) is ruled by Saturn. Capricorn are characterized by their need for organization and control.
• AQUARIUS The Water-Bearer (Fixed Air) is ruled by Uranus (formerly by Saturn). Aquarius are characterized by their gregarious nature.
• PISCES The Fish (2) (Mutable Water) is ruled by Neptune (formerly Jupiter). Pisces are characterized by their intuition and strong sense of feeling.
